Platform allows cosmetics resellers to create their own website and increase revenue
Entrepreneur Leonardo Cecchetto created a digital tools startup to support beauty and cosmetics resellers during the pandemic. The platform allows entrepreneurs to launch their own e-commerce storefronts, with a simplified product catalog and a built-in chat feature for customers to ask questions and connect directly with resellers.
The goal is to make it easier for these professionals to transition to digital. This became an urgent need during the pandemic. The startup also offers marketing features to help attract buyers, such as countdown timers for promotions and daily deals. At checkout, customers can make instant payments via PIX within the chat interface.
One of the entrepreneurs who used the platform to grow her income is Anna Clara Cunha. What started as a side hustle became her full-time business. As a registered sole proprietor, she says her monthly earnings more than tripled thanks to the platform, jumping from around $1,000 to over $6,000.
According to Cecchetto, another goal is to help resellers expand the range of brands they offer and enable them to sell across all regions of Brazil using social media.
The initial investment to build the platform was around $20,000. Today, it has more than 38,000 registered resellers and has processed over $1.2 million in product sales. The startup earns revenue by taking a 20 percent fee on each purchase.
